Membership Team Manager & Upper South Island Membership Manager

Whether it was driving in the family business, co-ordinating the distribution of newspapers around the South Island or selling telematics into the industry, John has been around trucks for most of the last 25+ years.

This experience has given John real insights into what goes into running a successful transport business along with the opportunity to build some great relationships with many across the industry.

Now as Membership Manager at Transporting New Zealand, John is enjoying the chance to work with the wider team. He’s adding value to membership through sound policy and advocacy, industry knowledge and helping to cultivate a commercial offering that drives increased productivity and profitability.

Outside of work John loves the opportunity to get in lots of casting practice and has even caught the odd fish, travelling whether it’s near or far, watching sport and spending time with family and friends over a nice glass of wine.
