Murray Young

Murray is the General Manager of NZ Express Transport, Chairperson of NZITSG, member of SIPUWG, served on Hanga-Aro-Rau Commercial Transport NIAG and is the former president and director at NZRTA. With a distinguished 35-year career delivering continuous improvement and transformational change in transport and logistics, Murray remains committed to the industry’s relevance, transparency, and improving productivity.

Murray was instrumental in the initial HPMV trial for increased mass with Ministry of Transport, CWS and Shell. Murray received the NZTA Road Safety Trust Innovation and Achievement Award and Shells Vice Presidents Award for Continuous Improvement of Road Transport.
